Ich bin 1957 in Wien geboren. Nach der Matura an einer Handelsakademie habe ich an der Universität Wien Biologie studiert und verdiene mein Brot in der pharmazeutischen Industrie.
Zeichnen und Malen waren von früher Kindheit an meine Leidenschaft.
Ich habe mir damit meine eigenen Welten erschaffen und Träume ausgelebt.
Zwei meiner frühesten Werke: Die Prinzessin mit allen unverzichtbaren Attributen, links; Gott erschafft die Welt, rechts.
Als Autodidaktin haben mich nur meine übermächtige Fantasie und ein ausgeprägter Schaffensdrang zur Entwicklung meines Talents geführt.

Meine Werke heute sind ein Versuch die fantastischen und magischen Momente der Welt um mich herum einzufangen und die Wirkung, die sie auf mich haben, auszudrücken. In ihnen konzentriere ich was ich sehe oder fühle, und ich kann damit meine Beziehung zur Natur ausdrücken sowie auch mystische und religiöse Erfahrungen.
In den letzten Jahren habe ich mich zunehmend dreidimensionalen Objekten zugewandt die sinnlicher und damit befriedigender sind als die rein zweidimensionalen Bilder.

Ich produziere nicht nur hehre Kunst sondern auch Gebrauchsgrafik wie z.B. Visitenkarten, Flugblätter, CD-Titel und dergleichen mehr.

I was born in Vienna in 1957. After graduating from a commercial college I studied biology at the University of Vienna. I make a living by working for the pharmaceuticals industry.
Drawing an painting have been my passion from early childhood on. I used these tools to create my own personal worlds and to live my dreams.

Being an autodidact, only my overwhelming imagination and a strong urge to create guided me in developing my talent.

My artworks of today are an attempt to capture the fantastic and magic moments of the world around me and to express the effect they have on me. They represent the essence of what I see or feel, and they also reflect my relatedness to nature as well as mystic and religious experiences I have.
During the last years I increasingly have preferred three-dimensional objects as these offer more sensual satisfaction than merely two-dimensional pictures.
By the way …
besides of highly sophisticated arts I also make graphics for practical use such as business cards, leaflets, CD covers and the like.
